OUR STORY

At the Wabash County United Fund we believe that when we’re united, we all win. We exist to address the most critical issues our community faces by investing in programs that have a positive impact on the quality of life for residents of Wabash County.

We’re proud to partner with and support local organizations who are working to address the issues our community faces in the areas of education, health, and financial stability.

ALICE is an acronym that stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed. ALICE earns above the federal poverty level, but does not earn enough to afford a bare-bones household budget of housing, child care, food, transportation and health care. The ALICE Reports use new measures to provide a more accurate picture of financial insecurity at the state, county, and municipal level.
