85 Hope: Free medical clinic to provide compassionate primary medical care and other healthcare services to low-income adult residents of Wabash County who are uninsured or under-insured.

Access Youth Center​Each program is designed to meet a specific need in a student's life. From spending time with them during peak at-risk times, to providing food, showers, laundry, backpacks, Christmas presents, basic hygiene supplies, and meals as needed. We strive to meet any need that we see in the lives of local students.

 

Advantage Housing, Inc.: Focuses on homeless prevention by meeting the housing needs of the underserved with emergency housing at private properties on S. Wabash Street and W. Hill Street. Additionally, they offer housing crisis counseling that helps clients identify barriers, develop a Housing Plan, and move towards long-term, stable housing. 

 

ARC of Wabash County: Provides programs and services for individuals in Wabash County who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ARC provides advocacy, transportation, affordable housing, employment, and social activities.

 

Bash Bags [Formerly Blessings in a Backpack - Wabash]: Provides food over the weekend for local food insecure school children in grades pre-k-6th grade. Each Friday, 8-10 food items are sent home with students who attend Metro North, OJ Neighbours, Southwood Elementary, Sharp Creek, St. Bernard and LH Carpenter.​

 

Community Cupboard Food Pantry: Located at the Winchester Senior Center where volunteers collect and distribute essential food supplies and household items to Wabash County residents with a demonstrated need.

 

Daniel's Place: Delivers quality, affordable respite care for individuals with disabilities and their families. “Respite” provides short-term care solutions and support for those who require continual assistance from a loved one.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library: Each month, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library mails a high quality, age appropriate book to all registered children birth through age five, addressed to them, at no cost to the child's family. â€‹

Hands of Hope – Radiant Health: Provides personalized, trauma-informed mobile advocacy for victims of violence, offering free, confidential services like safety planning, protective order help, referrals, and court or medical support.

 

Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry: The Meat4Forks program partners with Indiana farmers and 4-H to provide ground meat for families in need. Hoosiers Feeding the Hungry covers processing costs and distributes the meat through local food banks and pantries in Wabash County.

 

Housing Action of Wabash County (HAWC): Operates an Emergency Homeless Shelter at the BlissPoint Inn, offering temporary housing and case management to help families overcome barriers and transition to stable housing.

LaFontaine Learning Community: A child-care ministry, serving children ages six weeks through 5th grade. Offering daycare services year-round, before and after school care, and school break camps.

  

Lighthouse Mission: More than a retail store, they provide essentials like clothing, household items, and hygiene products to support families in hardship and help meet basic needs with dignity.

 

Manchester Early Learning Center (MELC):  Provides affordable, high-quality care and education for infants through preschool, plus before and after school care, focusing on readiness, social-emotional growth, and inclusivity with a dual-language option.

 

Montessori School at WPC (Wabash Presbyterian Church): Offers full-day programs for ages 1.5–12 with a focus on outdoor learning, providing affordable, individualized education that nurtures curiosity, independence, and community.

 

Pathfinder Services - Financial Opportunity Center: Helps Wabash County residents build financial stability through one-on-one coaching in finances, employment, and benefits, guiding them to improve credit, reduce debt, save, and increase income.

 

Roann Community Building: Provides a welcoming space for the community to gather, hosting events and activities that build connections, support traditions, and foster belonging for all ages.

 

Somerset Community Building: The Somerset Community Building, managed by the Somerset Relocation Development Corporation (SRDC), serves as a hub for community events and rentals, with all income reinvested into the building, fire station, parks, and local programming.

Wabash County Cancer Society: Supports and assists anyone who has cancer in Wabash County with equipment loans, prescription reimbursements, and mileage reimbursements for appointments within Indiana.

​

Wabash County Tobacco Free Coalition: Provides education on the dangers of tobacco and secondhand smoke, plus resources to quit. The referral-based NAT class supports students who violate policies, while a coordinator delivers age-appropriate lessons in schools and on social media.

 

Wabash County Transit: Offers transportation for all ages, all over the county. 60+ free will donation, 59 and under, $2 fare for one-way trip in the city limits of N. Manchester and Wabash. $4 one-way anywhere else in

the county. Caregivers ride for free and free rides are given to those needing transportation to any soup kitchens, food pantries, the WIC Office, and 85 Hope in Wabash County.
